Blue Heart medical center provides quality, cost effective primary healthcare. We service everyone, from people with medical aid and those individuals who cannot necessarily afford medical aid, but do not wish to be limited to health care offered in state facilities. We offer Occupational Health screening to ensure the safety of employees in the workplace. Ensuring employees are in a good state of physical and mental health to perform their duties is our priority. We prioritize efficiency to increase productivity and reduce absenteeism. Our focus is on preventative medicine, and primary health care.

PROBLEM

Blue Heart Medical Centre had limited online visibility and lacked a consistent digital presence that reflected the credibility and care of their medical practice. Their social media platforms were underutilised, making it difficult to effectively engage patients, communicate key services, and promote their WhatsApp channel as a direct point of contact. As a result, the practice was missing opportunities to build trust, increase awareness, and connect with both existing and potential patients in a more accessible, modern way.

SOLUTION

To address this, the challenge was to create engaging, informative social media post designs and short-form video content that would strengthen Blue Heart Medical Centre’s online presence, clearly communicate their medical offerings, and encourage patient interaction—while maintaining a professional, trustworthy tone aligned with the healthcare industry.

In addition, a weekly TikTok Live segment was introduced, where the doctor went live to answer medical questions submitted by patients during the previous week. My role included creating promotional content for these live sessions, developing supporting visuals, and generating content ideas to drive awareness and participation. This ranged from educational posts to light-hearted, trend-led content such as memes and platform-relevant trends. I worked closely with the marketing team to ensure all content was strategic, engaging, and aligned with the practice’s goals.
